JOIN HDMAC

Membership of the Huddersfield and District Model Aircraft Club is open to anyone with an interest in the design, building and flying of model aircraft.

Upon joining HDMAC you will be issued with the following :-

A Club Membership Card.

A Handbook containing the Club Constitution and Rules covering conduct and the safe operation at flying sites.

The Huddersfield & District Model Aircraft Club is affiliated to the British Model Flying Association (BMFA) and all active members of HDMAC must be BMFA members in order that they and the Club are covered by the BMFA Third Party Insurance scheme.

BMFA membership is included in the total HDMAC subscription (unless the applicant is already a BMFA member).

To avoid any confusion with membership processing only fully completed applications received by the Membership Secretary through the Royal Mail will be accepted.

Please Note - It is now Club policy to process Membership Applications once a month immediately after the Committee Meeting on the last Thursday of every Month.

Before applying for membership we encourage potential new members to firstly get in touch with the Club. We can then organise a mutually suitable time for you to visit the Whams flying site to both meet us and see the facilities that the Club can offer. We look forward to meeting you.
